PUMA released today its second drop for LQD CELL Origin. Drone is inspired by the world of drones, mainly by the colours of the sky throughout the day and night; which gave the material, texture, and design aesthetic for this new release.
Perceptions will be elevated with the all new LQD CELL Origin: Drone. It’s inspired by the world of drones; this shoe will take you high and above the odds with PUMA’s new LQD CELL stable cushioning. Be prepared to propel possibilities and take your look to new heights – there’s two different colourways available, DAY features a brighter design with a light blue upper resembling the sky, and a yellow to orange gradient on the sole; NIGHT has a prominent dark blue overlay with a blue to purple gradient.
This new release will be compatible with the PUMA LQD CELL app available on the App Store and Google Play, users will be able to scan the futuristic-looking silhouette and activate a brand-new filter in addition to any of the previously unlocked effects. The app also features “LQDASH”, an augmented reality running game.
LQD CELL Origin: Drone features LQD CELL technology (pronounced: /ˈlikwid/ /sel/), which offers superior cushioning by evolving PUMA’s classic CELL technology to make it more compact and malleable.
Available today at PUMA.com and selected retailers worldwide. Other products featuring the LQD CELL technology will be available throughout the summer and will also appear in high-performance training shoes by mid-2019.
