This back to school season, automotive collective Purist Group programmed a unique effort to ensure that children in need were given the necessary supplies to succeed this new school year. As part of their passion for philanthropic work to local communities, Purist Group brought together hundreds of volunteers to donate, fill and distribute nearly 2,000 backpacks to Southern California students with developmental disabilities and low socioeconomic backgrounds.
Inspired by one teacher’s personal mission to supply students with the appropriate tools for their education, Purist Group founder Sean Lee began to maximize this teacher’s efforts by calling upon local organizations and brands. As part of VAST Life’s ongoing “VAST Love” effort to give back and support; and their global connections in Asia, the brand was able to secure backpacks from Taiwanese accessories label, Deya. Crafted with the best quality materials and superb technology, these uncomplicated backpacks, along with much needed school supplies, became available to thousands of children in need this new school year.
