ASICS and French fashion label A.P.C. team up to launch a new Tennis Collection ahead of the European Tennis Tour, comprised of both on-court and off-court pieces. The launch represents a milestone for ASICS as its first-ever head-to-toe collaboration in tennis.
United by their dedication to quality and craftsmanship, ASICS and A.P.C. have created a unisex look and feel Collection in a crisp blue and white color palette – true to A.P.C.’s signature monochromatic aesthetic. The designs embrace a minimalist yet distinctive approach, channeling a 70’s preppy style with classic A.P.C. silhouettes.
The 20-piece on-court collection fuses ASICS’ industry leading performance technology with A.P.C.’s elevated style, to boost confidence on court. Standout women’s pieces available in the range include the CREW DRESS, CREW SLEEVELESS TOP, 2-N-1™ SHORT, LONGLINE BRA and 7IN SPRINTER SHORT. For men, key pieces include the CREW SS TOP, CREW SLEEVELESS TOP and 5IN SHORT.
Drawing from ASICS’ Japanese heritage, the on-court collection incorporates three core design elements. Select pieces, such as the CREW DRESS, CREW SLEEVELESS TOP, 2-N-1™ SHORT and 5IN SHORT reflect KASANE, the Japanese art of layering, through a subtle wrap detail. The “Enso” motif – a circular symbol of unity – features throughout, while the ASICS logo takes inspiration from the traditional Japanese tie-dye technique SHIBORI.
To complete the look, the on-court range is complemented with special edition GEL-RESOLUTION™ X x A.P.C. and SOLUTION SPEED™ FF 3 x A.P.C. shoes, alongside ASICS x A.P.C. accessories including the TENNIS CAP, TENNIS WRISTBAND and COURT+ TENNIS CREW SOCKS.
Beyond the court, the 30-piece off-court collection, led by A.P.C.’s Creative Director Judith Touitou offers effortless style for everyday movement. The off-court lineup is completed with special edition GEL-KAYANO™ 14 x A.P.C. sneakers, alongside signature accessories including the Tote Raquette – crafted with Japanese organic denim, the tote features a sleek front pocket designed to fit a tennis racket.
ASICS athletes including Alex de Minaur, Borna Coric, Lorenzo Musetti, Belinda Bencic, Harriet Dart and Jasmine Paolini will be sporting both collections during the European tennis tournaments, showcasing their timeless appeal and performance-driven design.
Camille Eberhard, Director of Apparel at ASICS said: “We’re excited to introduce our first-ever head-to-toe tennis collaboration and partnering with A.P.C. was the perfect match for this launch. Our teams collaborated closely to bring this vision to life, balancing style and performance to inspire confidence on the court. For the on-court collection, our goal was to design apparel that helps players feel their best, ready to experience the powerful uplift of movement on the mind. It seamlessly blends timeless aesthetics with our industry-leading performance technology. The off-court range, designed by A.P.C., extends this philosophy beyond the game, embracing an active lifestyle in everyday life.”
Judith Touitou, Creative Director at A.P.C. said: “With this collection, we tried to achieve the purest silhouettes possible so as to focus on the beauty of the sportive gesture achieved by ASICS athletes on their way to success. We also wanted to translate this spirit in everybody’s lifestyle, adding also a touch of playfulness brought by our gradient print on nylon pieces.”
The ASICS x A.P.C. Tennis Collection is available to purchase online starting from 5 April 2025 at asics.com, apcstore.com and select ASICS and A.P.C. Stores worldwide.
