Carhartt x ’47 today announce their newly expanded NHL collaboration. Previously created exclusively for the Original Six teams, this year’s collection is now available for all 31 NHL teams, celebrating the unbreakable bond that exists between hardworking hockey fans and their hometown teams.
This year the brands are teaming up for two releases: Current Day and Legacy Marks. The Current Day release launches on Wednesday, October 2nd, featuring the iconic NHL logos we know and love. The Legacy Marks release, launching on October 27th, takes a trip back in time, featuring vintage team logos from season’s passed.
The headwear assortment for the collection features the durable Carhartt duck material in three signature colors: brown, navy, and classic black. Available silhouettes include the ’47 CAPTAIN (structured, flat visor, snapback), ’47 CLEAN UP (unstructured, curved visor, adjustable), ’47 MVP (structured, curved visor, adjustable) and a ’47 Knit.
In 2016, Carhartt and ’47 made the inaugural drop of their OUTWORK x OUTROOT collaboration that draws on the hardworking fans of both brands’ hometown teams – the Detroit Tigers and Boston Red Sox. As two family-run companies with deep roots in their cities, they have fans who know what it means to work hard, and hard workers who know what it means to fan.
