Carhartt x ’47 today announce the return of their NFL collaboration. For the second year, the collection merges Carhartt’s durable duck material with ’47’s iconic headwear silhouettes in 31 NFL teams, celebrating the unbreakable bond that exists between hardworking football fans and their hometown teams.
Building off of last year’s collection, this year the brands are teaming up for two releases: Current Day and Legacy Marks. The Current Day release launches on Tuesday the 13th, featuring the iconic NFL logos we know and love. The Legacy Marks release, launching on September 15th, takes a trip back in time for the NFL 100, featuring vintage team logos from season’s past.
The headwear assortment for the collection features the durable Carhartt duck material in three signature colors: brown, navy, and classic black. Available silhouettes include the ’47 CAPTAIN (structured, flat visor, strapback), ’47 CLEAN UP (unstructured, curved visor, adjustable) and ’47 MVP (structured, curved visor, adjustable).
In 2016, Carhartt x ’47 made the inaugural drop of their OUTWORK x OUTROOT collaboration that draws on the hardworking fans of the brands’ hometown teams – the Detroit Tigers and Boston Red Sox.
