Incase, design-driven bag and accessory brand for today’s creatives, today announced the launch of CaseStudies™, a new experiential and interactive platform where industry leaders converge to empower the next generation of designers, creatives, photographers and innovators of all mediums.
Since its inception, Incase has lived at the intersection of technology and lifestyle, delivering solutions to provide today’s creatives a better experience through good design. Through connecting inspirational leaders with the aspirational next generation in an authentic and interactive platform, CaseStudies™ is the progression of Incase’s experience-driven resolve and represents the brand’s commitment to furthering inspiration for the creative community.
Hosted bimonthly in partnership with AIGA LA, each CaseStudies™ event will include interactive speaking engagements that catalyze creativity and keep the community inspired. Attendees will experience a range of topics from guest speakers including photography, travel, design, entrepreneurship and innovation. The inaugural CaseStudies™ event will be led by artist and photographer, Mark Oblow, on April 18th.
“It is important for me to be a part of the CaseStudies program to align and help inspire the next generation of creative leaders,” says Oblow. “To share and become part of the future is to share and create forever.”
With a focus on his early perspectives of skateboard photography, Oblow will explore the rise, influence and cultural significance of 1980s skateboarding in Hawaii through photography. To join the Incase x AIGA LA CaseStudies™: Mark Oblow event on April 18th, RSVP today at Incase.com/CaseStudies.
Beginning Summer 2018, CaseStudies™ will be hosted at the new Incase flagship store in Downtown Los Angeles. Following the April event with Mark Oblow, upcoming CaseStudies™ events and guest speakers include:
Jamal Burger: Creativity and Streetwear.
“Sharing our knowledge and empowering the future is the rent we pay to live freely.”
Photographer Jamal Burger will discuss the self-expression, individuality and purpose of streetwear—a movement combining elements of counterculture with modern street style.
David Clark: Travel and Photography.
“We wouldn’t be here without so many before us. The least we can do is be that for the generation to come.”
Creative Director and Entrepreneur, David Clark will touch on travel, photography, and business ownership.
