Introducing a new collection of classic sportswear from adidas Originals and wings+horns, blending traditional craftsmanship, contemporary fabrics and progressive design. Inspired by the enduring concept of clothing as a second skin, Spring/Summer 2017 features lightweight, weather-ready apparel and footwear in the subdued grey and blue colour palette of a Northern summer.
Understated design elements, including geometric paneling and contrasting textures, are featured throughout the collection. Footwear is highlighted by a fluid one-piece Campus 80 with tonal embroidered 3-stripes. A Primeknit NMD_R2 features the collaboration’s signature geometric motif, alongside a second pair constructed from a single piece of hand stitched premium leather.
The result of a co-operative approach to every stage of production, adidas Originals by wings+horns SS17 is informed by a spirit of duality, creating a seamless unity of classic and contemporary; light and dark; aesthetic and application; form and function.
