MTVs’ “Wonderland” Allows Fans To Get Closer to The Music

MTV is in the process of bringing back music segments to the station. After a long period of bland reality shows and the occasional music videos, MTV has realized music is the theme and heart of it. ‘Wonderland’ is their new attempt to fill the musical void that TRL once held. Since the departure of Carson Daly from TRL, the show didn’t quite live up to what it once was. Taped weekly in Los Angeles, Wonderland is bringing together the new music, with live performances from special guests and a comedic taste. Wonderland provides a platform for diverse artists to get in touch with the fans and also bring in the pop culture side of current events.

November 3rd, 2016 episode included performances from; Jeezy, Gallant, Sunflower Bean and also Wonderlands host, Lizzo gave a special treat to fans performing her new hit Phone. Gallant is an up and coming singer hailing in from Maryland and looking to make a name for himself. At the Wonderlands Bar Stage, fans got an intimate experience tuning into Gallant sing hits such as, percogesic and weight in gold. Jeezy came out on the main stage and played music off his recently released Trap or Die 3. In The Brothel Stage, Sunflower Bean fans got a chance to catch live acts of the band performing Come On and I Was Home. Wonderland is free to attend by getting tickets online. Drinks and food trucks are on-site for fans and also a Taco Bell truck with free tacos! Wonderland is a great experience for fans to get a taste of their favorite musicians in a close encounter all while enjoying the live downtown LA atmosphere.

Wonderlands November 10th musical guests will be; Sleigh Bells, Vic Mensa, D.R.A.M. & others
Wonderland appears on MTV Thursdays at 11/10c.
