Kendrick Lamar – Compton | Witness Greatness

Do you hear me? Do you feel me?

The kid is definitely doing more than Alright!  With Kendrick Lamar being nominated for an amazing eleven GRAMMYs (including Album of the Year for To Pimp A Butterfly) at this year’s GRAMMY Awards, the academy honor’s the rapper’s achievements with an awe-inspiring rendition of “Alright.”  The short film below celebrates Compton, the city that inspired Kendrick, and helped make him the artist he is today.

Just having finished his well-received, intimate “Kunta’s Groove Sessions” Tour late last year, Kendrick is definitely starting 2016 off on the right note.  To complement his eleven GRAMMY nods, the kid from Compton has already gone and visited The White House, and put out a banger with Kanye West.

The 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards is set to air February 15, 2016 on CBS.
