Nixon continues to integrate sustainability into its watches, bags, and other accessories with the introduction of the new Time Teller OPP ($100). Nixon’s Other People’s Plastics (aka, OPP) collection is a series of watches, bags, and accessories made from reclaimed plastics that otherwise would have wound up in landfills or the Earth’s oceans. This new version of the Time Teller updates a Nixon classic with an environmental statement-making design. Available in a broad palette that includes both vibrant and subdued tones, the minimalist Time Teller OPP ups your style with environmental responsibility in mind.
The Time Teller OPP builds off an icon of Nixon heritage with forward-thinking design and environmentally aware style. Luminescent hands and indices on the Time Teller OPP shed light in dark situations, complimenting the aesthetic flourish of the speckled finish on its 20mm band and low-profile 39.5mm case. Miyota Japanese 3-hand movement, applied indices, and 10 ATM water rating complete the package.
The Time Teller OPP is just the latest in Nixon’s efforts toward sustainable design. Earlier this year, it released the Sentry Solar series of watches, a new take on some of its bestselling timepieces. In 2020 it launched the first line of bags made from recycled plastic fabric. In 2021 it released the Light-Wave, its first solar-powered analog watch also made from recycled plastics. Other recent environmentally considerate introductions include the solar-powered Optimist, automatic-movement Spectra, and the incorporation of recycled plastics into an entire collection of sustainable watches.. Nixon also has a line of sustainable replacement watch bands, and uses 100% curbside recyclable packaging for every watch in its collection.
Classic, comfortable, and responsibly built to last, the Time Teller OPP adds purposeful style to anyone’s fit.
