Today adidas Running launches a brand-new silhouette created especially for the urban city runner, the adidas PureBoost Go. Designed for easier changes in direction, the highly adaptive silhouette offers a running experience that’s both thrilling and accessible for all.

The brand-new Expanded Landing Zone – a wider forefoot platform for increased stability in lateral movements – gives street runners ultimate adaptability, so they can change direction with ease and speed. The PureBoost Go also features a BOOST midsole, adidas’ industry-defining technology that offers runners endless energy return. For a more comfortable fit and a better running experience, a deconstructed circular knit upper, crafted from a breathable fabric, improves flexibility and freedom of movement with each step.

Captain of adidas Runners NYC Kwasi Kessie said: “For me, there’s nothing more thrilling than street running through NYC. It’s exciting because it’s so raw and unpredictable and discovering the city in this way is totally unique. adidas’ PureBoost Go is the perfect shoe for city running, it means I can change direction and adapt to anything the city throws at me.”

To inspire city runners and give back to A$AP Ferg’s Harlem community, adidas will be refurbishing the running track at Thomas Jefferson Park, which will be finished later this summer. To kick off this initiative A$AP Ferg and adidas have partnered to drop an exclusive music track titled “BRAG” which will go live on adidas.com on July 24th. Stay tuned to adidas.com/us/trackfortrack for more information.

To cater to the city lifestyle, adidas is partnering with Postmates to offer an exclusive pre-sale to consumers located in NYC and Chicago on July 18 through the Postmates app available on iOS or Android. Consumers within the delivery zone of select adidas stores will be able to go into the Postmates app, purchase PureBoost Go and have it delivered to them by Postmates allowing them to fit running into their busy lives.

On July 19, PureBoost Go will be widely available for men and women in the US for $120 on adidas.com, adidas stores and select retailers including Finish Line, Champs, Eastbay and Nordstrom. Starting August 22, the shoe will be available globally in additional color ways.
