Loosely based on science fiction tales of space warfare, doomsday invasions and planetary exploration, the Crooks & Castles Holiday 2016 collection entitled ‘War of the worlds,’ draws heavily on astronomy, space exploration and the palettes that naturally follow. Concepts such as stealth, functionality and technology are subtly discussed via the cut & sew pieces; mainly through the use of performance based technologies, tapings, and materials on the garments.
