Apple’s Jony Ive has turned his hand to interior design with the completion of the first apple store in Belgium store. Although the scheme’s trademark glazed facades retain a sense of familiarity, inside the store ive and his co-designer Angela Ahrendts have placed more of an emphasis on natural finishes, with timber surfaces furnishing the open-plan space. eight trees are placed at the center of the store, creating a mini promenade adjacent to the genius bar.
